Works fantastic. Received this as a Like New item at a rather significant discount and when it arrived CrystalDiskInfo only had 600gb ever written to it which I would say is certainly like new quality. Was packaged well. Using it in an external enclosure so I won't get the full rated speeds but it's still fast af. And the TBW rating is a nice peace of mind for a high quality drive from a name brand company. Easy to install and the 4TB capacity should be more than enough to use as a working drive. A nice change of pace from my earlier 1-2TB externals.

Perfect, and economical, solution for my system disk. Easy physical install, and noticeably faster than the 980 pro that it replaced. System software install was blazing fast.Definitely recommended!

4TB Working great in Ceph cluster. Replace some Orico 4TB that were making the cluster very unhappy. Also have the EVO Pro in this cluster and here are the timings in the of the OSD's (disks) in the cluster.OSD.1 and 2 are this 990 PROOSD.0 is 990 EVO ProOSD.5 is WD Black however this is a smaller 2TB so I am sure it is not hit as hard as the 4TB as Ceph bases use on available space on each drive as well as other factors.

Nothing but headaches. Until I downloaded Samsung Magician and did the firmware update. Then, suddenly, I was able to clone my SATA drive on my older DELL XPS 8930.You would think a newer SSD would work right out of the box. You'd be wrong. I was unable to clone the SATA drive using Macrium Reflect, which ChatGPT had suggested.I wasted several hours... As a last ditch effort, I started over with Samsung Magician. My first attempt to clone the drive also failed. Only after doing the FW update did this SSD work as designed.

It's the best M.2 at the best price point!I was going to reorder 5 of them, but Amazon decided to remove them from my cart, show the 404 page for the product, and even the product picture in my past orders disappeared. Had to get Crucial drives instead this time for about the same price. After I completed the purchase, Amazon is showing the product page again. It wasn't destined to order the drives this time...
